I was going to say something similar to Gary's statement. Like.. what's that thing growing in Fran's stomach? Gary, being the gentleman that he is, said it in a more subtle round about way. PS: As long as your BP is okay and you don't smoke, drink, or do drugs (forgive me, I'm not implying that you do but stating it as on the whole - for whoever), then I wouldn't sweat it too much Fran. Eating healthy and living in what is considered a healthy manner is the main thing. If your doing that, then a few extra pounds shouldn't be too much of a cause for over concern in my opinion. It's when the other things are neglected or abused that the added extra pounds begin to take a toll on your health, well being, and longevity. But I think Gary's suggestion is a good one. We only want the best for you Fran you know that. Although there may be some enemies here who don't I'm not sure. Just kidding... Best, Mike [This message has been edited by keybplayer (edited 10-20-2007).]

Tom I started used Peavey gear when the company just started. Later, I became close friends with Mr. Paul Robinson, who worked for Peavey. Paul would bring the latest gear for me to evaluate and often just leave it with me. The last thing he brought me was a red Peavey guitar. He would sit in with me and play it when he came to town. I still have it. Paul and I played golf every time he came to town, and I also went to his house in Memphis to play a couple of times. One day while he was on the road, he finished his appointments early, decided to play a round of golf. After he finished, he went went to dinner, then back to the motel room. He died later that night from a heart attack. Now every time I think of Peavey it reminds me of my friend. Anyway, the PR15s were the last Peavey gear I bought. I must admit I have opted for several pieces of the low-price Behringer gear in the past few years, and have not been disappointed. I believe Behringer has had a big effect on the entire industry and have forced other companies to price their gear more realistically. DonM

DonM Don, I think you're correct about their effect on pricing in the industry. However, it's a lot easier to undercut the competition when you're taking advantage of their R@D. We condemn China for reverse-engineering, cloning, flat-out stealing, etc., other's technology; why not Behringer? Could it be that we've become addicted, ala WalMart, to those low, low, prices? And ultimately, doesn't this hurt the industry, and by extension, ourselves, in the long run? Just a thought. BTW, I'm as guilty as anyone as I sit here looking at my FCV100 (at $24.00, larger, better built, and functionally better than the EV5 it replaced) and my ADA8000 (best bargin in the industry), and my ...... oh, what the hell. chas
