What’s the fuss; it’s just a standard PC with a Touch screen and the appropriate software.

It looks to be a real improvment over the current MPP. Yea, looking at the specs it does look like PC with a touch screen. But I've yet to see one with the foot print of this device. I gotta believe it's probably overpriced.

Bill, have you seen a tablet PC with a 19" wide touchscreen that you can sit in front of you on piano like an open book of music? I haven't. It not the software nor the hardware that makes this a good solution. It's the appropriate combination of the two.

You can do this with any laptop. However, the Music Pad Pro is significantly less versitile, and more expensive. There is even a view program that allows you to set your laptop up like a book so the keys are on the left and the screen is on the right.

Cheers,

Gary
