Requesting info here on 9000 psr.
All the factory defaults have ots in this keyboard. I can load in a new style and make ots for it.
I have downloaded several styles from reccomended sites and none of them have ots.
I backup the defaults from the keyboard onto a floppy and in the computer they show ots files. The downloaded files do not.
What am I missing here?
Please bring my learning curve on this new board up to speed and thanks to any and all from,
Bebop

Hi Bebob,

what kind of styles did you download?
Only factory styles (Psr9000/2000, CVP209, etc) and styles made by third party companies will have OTS. All other home made styles and/or converted styles usually don't have OTS.

In order to have the OTS on your board lets say from the Psr2000, you have to load the style into the flash memory and select download with OTS. The disadvantage though is that you only have enough memory left for about 2 more styles. In order to save more you have to delete the ones you don't want first.

If you use the Disk Direct function, OTS will NOT load. A flaw in the OS?!

That's the only way.
Sorry.

Hope this Helps.

Eric

On the 2000, the OTS is actually part of the style. On the 9000 and Pro, it is not part of the style.

is there a way to delete all the styles in flash at once... like a reformat command?

Or a way to save all the flash styles to hard drive... and start fresh with 100% free flash space!

I see there is a command in the FLASH Manger to load all styles with ots from a folder on hard drive in flash memory.

HI: rgtaa
The only way I found to delete all the styles in flash
is 1 at a time the first time then save that to floppy
or hard drive.
Then the next time you want to delete all in the flash
just load the empty flash, works good for me.
