OK, I just bought the beast and took a day off work to put it through its paces

I've searched the forum, but I have one question (only one, I hear you ask?).

The X1 Chord Mode allows four possibilities: Easy1, Easy2 and Fingered and Finger.2.

The default seems to be Easy1.

I have read the manual a number of times, but I can't for the life of me set the default to Fingered (my overall preference).

I must be missing something. Setting the Chord Mode to Fingered in the Arrange Mode and saving the Power On Setup sets the keyboard to Fingered when I power up but goes back to Easy1 as soon as I change Styles!

Grateful for any pointers please.

Not that this is the best answer, but did u try to save it as a registration? This way once ur keyboard is up and running u select ur registration and boom!

I know you would rather have it as power on setup, but just a work around if there is no better.

Thanks for that Mosiqaar.
I was just about to try it out but I thought I'd read the manual again (it's in French!).

The manual only documents three chord modes, Easy1, Easy2 and Fingered. I have a fourth mode Finger.2 and it seems to work (I think). Seems to stay on Finger.2 when I change Styles. Go figure. Possibly a software fix.

Thanks again for your help,

Regards,
