hello my friends

i was wondering if an external USB hard drive like Pocketec could be connected to a PSR2100 and then if it was possible to read styles files and midi files ?

To the best of my knowledge this cannot be done (not even with the Tyros) One needs an o/s like Windows to make it happen.

USB is usually one way only - from the computer outwards. You can't connect two peripherals together because you need USB drivers for each one.

For my PSR9000 that has a scsi port, I have both an internal hard drive, an external hard drive and a cdrw drive hooked up to it. The cdrw does not write but only reads.
Then there is an internal hard drive in the keyboard also.
I don't know if this helps you any or not,but it might!
