I'm not too familiar with the ins and outs of midi, but what I'm trying to do is coordinate the settings on my G1000 and Digitech Studio Vocalist EX so that Tune1000 midi song files call up the right programs and harmonies, etc., in the Vocalist.

They work fine in my Solton X1 with its own internal vocalizer, but I can't figure out what the settings should be between the G1000 and Digitech.

I'm guessing this is pretty simple stuff for someone familiar with it.

Thanks in advance,
John Z

Dave is half way there, Don't forget to come out of midi "B" for song play. Midi "A" is for arranger/realtime play..Fran

Thanks very much, Uncle Dave and Fran, for the replies. I'm just back to the forum here after being away for several days, so I haven't had a chance to get back to the G1000 yet.

The SVEX has two channel settings--"system & vocoder" and "key/harmony." I just looked at the display and on my last try had S&V set to 5 and "K/H set to 1. And I was coming out of midi B on the G1000. Still the SVEX wasn't tracking the harmonies on the Tune1000 files. It selected programs for certain files but nothing sounded right.

What am I overlooking here?
