Hi all,
I have now plaied the E-80 for about four hours and I must say that it sounds much better than the G-70, at least to me. Many of the styles are taken from The G-70 but they sounds much better now. There are also new styles. If I compare the demos i have heared on the net it sounds much better live.
One thing is the keyfeel. The keys could be a little better from my opinion. If you have the oportunity try out the E-80.
Also the stereo field is also good.

Hi Christian - Interesting to read your comments. I bought the E80 to go with the T2 and initially thought it was quite poor and in particular the brass and the Sax'.

I have now had much more opportunity to play it and am really getting to like it now. The organ sounds are quite superb and the piano is very real. I never had the G70 so can't comment on the styles other than to say they are growing on me.

Good luck with yours!

regards

Mark

Hi Mark,
How do you like the keys?
To me they could have been better but i can live with it.
And the styles sounds live to me, what do you think?

As I say Christian I initially thought - no, not for me, but I persevered with it and now find it really good apart from the Brass & Sax. I have gone back to my dealer and he has agreed to get a brass expansion board free of charge for me so hopefully that will fix the "issue" for me. I actually find the keys really good - can't say I share your view on that one, but I can on the styles - they are good - the one thing I really like is to me it seems to be very user friendly - everything easily accessible, very clear and quick to find and use. How are you getting on with the Guitar mode? Haven't quite mastered it myself yet!
Regards
Mark
