From what I've read, it's an XD w/ an oriental scale(which you don't have to use)I thought I would have to play a lot of oriental stuff but it has mostly regular styles and they aren't half bad. The (live)drums sound pretty decent and you can get the styles to sound live by hitting & mixing intros, endings, fills & break so it sounds different all the time. I think I like it.

I was tempted to get a Vega for the Joystick.
