I thought the G-70 was only available through music stores and wasn't available for online purchase. Well here she is at Musician's Buy--and it's like $100 less than the T2.

$100 "less" for 76 keys, drawbar sliders, and from what I gather a better vocalizer. Seems like a great deal to me.

Of couse I'm not saying one's better than the other, we're clearly beating that topic to death lately. I'm just pointing out the very noticable extras on the G-70 for nearly $100 less.

The G70 in the UK has dropped in price considerably at lots of music shops. I guess it's because the new E80 is out any minute which can be purchased in here for roughly the same price as the T2.

My opinion....has been that Roland made a big marketing mistake by having the G-70 only sold in piano stores (USA market). My guess is that they now consider Version 2 a success over version one and that the few minor bugs or omissions of features should not stand in the way of the G70 taking off. (Maybe the omissions are being worked on!!)
