In a separate thread I complained about Yamaha implementing 'on bass' chord recognition when in 'full keyboard' mode.

But here I want to commend Yamaha for their 'AI Fingered' mode.

It has been often stated by a number of forum members that Yamaha uses short (boring repetitive) style patterns. I think I've been able to overcome this by triggering fills & using the multipad buttons to trigger drum hits etc (LIVE, in real time). ANOTHER cool device I recently discovered is to play short bass line fills (in the left hand) while in 'AI Fingered' mode. When you play a "single" notes in your left hand (left voice), the auto accompaniment bass part will play (double)those 'same' single notes played by you. Doing this is just another way to make your performance more exciting and LIVE.
