Why is there not a seperate Yamaha arranger forum just like there is for Technics,Roland etc?

There is also one at PSR Tutorial page, and two at Yahoo PSR groups--one for styles, the other for songs. http://psrtutorial.com/ http://www.egroups.com/messages/yamaha-psr-styles http://www.egroups.com/messages/yamaha-psr-songs

I've book marked those. Thankyou.
Although I did wonder why here on synth zone there is not a seperate forum for yamaha arrangers.
I know there is a yamaha forum in the synth section but not in the arranger section.

The Arranger Keyboard forums were first started by Chris Hansen who owned a Roland Arranger, so he requested a forum devoted to Roland arrangers in addition to the General forum. Since then there has been demand for Technics, Ketron and GeneralMusic forums but I have thought about closing the Roland arranger Forum due to lack of interest. There has really been no demand to start one just for Yamaha arrangers or else I would have. If you you would like to have a separate Yamaha Arranger Forum I'd be happy to create one.

I don't think we need or want a separate Yamaha Arranger here. There are many good ones, as have already been mentioned. The great thing about this forum is that we read ideas and topics from owners of all types of arrangers; and the successes and problems seem to be similar for each keyboard. I enjoy reading posts from all the Ketron, Korg, Roland, Yamaha and *** users. This forum is more a place to chat about experiences than individual keyboards - although we certainly have our fair share of help topics. As was wittily said a few posts back, the main question on this forum is 'what arranger should I buy?' or something very similar to that. NIGEL, please keep us together; don't start a new group.

On second thought, if there is enough interest in a Yamaha group, they should have the opportunity to make a go of it. I'm just be selfish and foolish; I was afraid we'd lose many of our readers, but I'm sure that wouldn't be the case.

I also agree, please no more forums! We are in danger of diluting our community of members once there is too much choice. Of course I would say that, as I run a forum for Yamaha arranger users! :-)
