Yes, Carlos. Thank you for the Test tip.

After running the test my PSR2000 shows:

Main boot: 1.03
Main Program: 1:00

Jerry: It's great to hear that you have version 1.20 (main program) on your 2000. I'm wondering 'what' changes are included in your version?

Some of the reported problems (bugs?) in version 1.00 (main program) are:

1) fingering mode not able to be saved in registration memory
2) left voice part is saved in Reg Memory Contents as a'style parameter' instead of 'voice parameter' which effectively won't allow you to create custom 'voice only' Registration Memory setups' which include the left voice.
3) vocal harmonizer: unable to eliminate the 'lead' voice on Karaoke Girl & Speedy Mouse.

I believe (according to Carlos Rodrigues) that #1 and/or #2 was corrected in OS 1.10 (main program). I'm curious to find out if ALL THREE above issues are addressed (corrected) in OS 1.20 (main program).

MORE IMPORTANTLY: I'm wondering 'IF' and 'WHEN' a downloadable version 1.20/1.10 OS update will be made available (by Yamaha) to all us PSR2000 owners who still have the older version 1.00 (main program) in our 2000's. I'm beginning to feel impatient.

Scott

I checked the parameters that can be edited under Speedy Mouse.

The Voice parameters are:

Harmony Gender Auto/off
Lead Gender Type Unison/male/female/off
Lead gender depth +/- 63
Lead Pitch Free/correct
Etc........

I don't have a mic hooked up to try it out.

Regards,

Jerry

Hi Jerry: In addition to the Speedy Mouse Vocalizer issue (being able to eliminate the lead voice entirely), please checkout (on your 1.20 version PSR2000), the registration memory 'fingering mode' issue as well as 'where' the left voice parameters are stored - in Registration Memory Contents. Anxious to hear your findings. MANY thanks. - Scott

I am a PSR2000 1.03/1.00/1.00 owner as well. Wassup? Are we USA customers second-class owners?

Or are our European brothers the test "guinea pigs"? (if we assume that later editions of keyboard OS's are not always necessarily better)...

OK. I hope I can help you guys here with the bug issues! Here goes. I had exchanged my first PSR2000 (thanks again DanO)because is had severe scratches all over it. That one the Main Boot was 1.03 and the Main program was 1.00 as was everything else.

My NEW and not scratched PSR2000 which I just got last week says Main Boot 1.03 and Main Program 1.20 all others are 1.00. I see Jerry has the same version as I do.

I have to say, when I first started playing this one it seemed a bit different in the OS and I can not tell you where yet cause I haven't had time to play with it. (started a new job and am just too tired) just I know some things have changed in comparison to the other version I had. It just seemed different and in a good way ha-ha.

I haven't advanced as far as you guys have in using the OS. So whatever questions or things you want me to try please be very specific so I can get the actions correctly. I will try out what you guys have on here so far and see what I get.

Wonder why they are not releasing these obvious updated versions to everyone? BTW I am from the USA! YEAH!
