Stumbled onto this at Music123. Never had any info or experience with GEM:

Is this their top-line keyboard?

Mr Bulk,

GEMs current top-of-the-line arranger keyboard is the WK8-series. This might soon be replaced with the new Gynesis (due next year?).

Check out www.generalmusic.com for more details.

Thanks,

AJ

PS: The price quoted at the 'Music 123 site' seems a little high for a WK2!

I agree with AJ. I have a Gem wk8 and the price they quote for the wk2 seems steep to me. I could sell my wk8 for close to that. (I think)

AJ and Vic01,

Thanks for the input. Yes, I finally went to the GEM page, and must say that the WK8 certainly specs out most impressively...

Charlie,
Yes, the WK8SE is the top of the line from Generalmusic. If you are interested, please contact me regarding a really great price on my floor sample demo. It's the end of the year and I have to take my inventory before December 31 and I like to move as many keyboards as possible before inventory time.
The WK8SE have been on backorder from Generalmusic for 2 months, but I have them in stock right now. In addition to all the great features of the WK8, the SE adds the real piano series sounds which have physical modeling piano capabilities. The WK series 32 track sequencers are the best in the industry in my opinion.
