Very very very good, reminds me of the feeling I had when I first played some Latin stuff on the SD1, Drums are amazing, they also use samples of actual percussionists with time sample to playback.

If you get anything for you PA1 get this !!!

Frank,
I agree with you: the demo's I have listened to on the Korg PA site are amazing: Korg is implementing in a very clever way things that Ketron came up with first, but implemented poorly.
The demo's were mainly about Salsa, Jazz Salsa, Cha cha cha, etc (there was also a Bachata loop... hint for Josè )
Frank, do you have a list of the actual wave loops (percussion samples)? Is there anything that has to do with Bossa Nova? (That could be a deal breaker for me...)
Thanks!
Andrea

I'm at work so I don't have the wave list with me. But it was done by a sound company in Italy.

The new waveforms are mainly all rythms, then using the existing sound pallate for the rest,

The band I'm in are mad up of Italians that have been here from 30 to 3 years, when they hears some of the beats they were very impressed.

When I get home I'll give you the list of what it has

It looks like the best part of the PA1x is the latin board. I wish they could re-do the whole board with that type of quality

Frank, that's not a good thing to hear from an actual PA1X-pro owner...

I really like the individual sounds of the PA, and the drums and bass have that good true bottom end deep realistic sound, but I feel it seems that allot of the styles seem to be very open and not as multi-instrumental, bare minimum., great for using it with let's say a guitarists or someone else playing, but it could just me beinbg used to the SD1 and G70
