If I had an arranger keyboard connected to a computer with a software sequencer, do the instrument midi messages produced by the rhythm styles get sent out through the MIDI OUT so that they can be recorded into a software sequencer or get sounded by an external sound module. Or does the rhythm styles just get sounded by the keyboard during a performance. Can the rhythm sounds (messages actually) of a style be recorded into a midi file?

For example, if a Bossa Nova style was selected and a song was played, would all the instruments and the rhythm they are playing as a result of the design of the Bossa Nova style, get sent out through the MIDI OUT, so that the midi messages can be recorded into a sequencer?

I'm not really sure how styles work or if they are carried out as midi messages. I'm not even sure if my questions make sense to experienced style users. Basically, I'd like to know if the rhythm styles can be recorded into a midi file.

Thank you.
