Hello Stein,
Welcome aboard.
About importing from outside the EEC.
I wouldn't recommand to do this.
1. No guarantuee by Yamaha
2. You will have to pay with the import
a. Importduty
b. On top The high VAT rate
Which is calculated as follows;
fob price+freight+duty and then the
VAT percentage on top.
3. If I recall you have 240 volts, so the AC
adapter will have to be replaced
I don't know the price in Uk for a Tyros II, but you might have a look at Musicians Gear in Germany, at least the garantuee of Yamaha stays valid if ordered through them.
About selling your Trinity.
I would keep it (unless you only need standard sounds), as allthough the standard sounds of todays keyboards are good, the arranger keyboards still are no synths.
Same package as 10 years ago, but better standard sounds, and a lot of extra utillities, but unfortunately no synth capabilities at all.
Ofcourse this is my opinion, so others might think different.
