Aj
I am not sure you understood my question. I know that when you record different tonalities they are only supposed to trigger when you play that chord back. I am telling you that this is not what the SD1 does. Sure - in (maj min 7th) everything plays back - but like I said before - if you record Maj or Maj7 tonality - they both play back on EITHER chord. I have made a list of how the SD1 responds to the different tonalities recorded in pattern edit.

Recording Maj or Maj7 - both patterns are triggered by either a Maj or Maj7 chord.

Recording in (maj min) combination - a Maj or Maj7 or Minor chord triggers the pattern but not Minor 7th.

Recording in min - pattern triggered only by minor chord

Recording in minor 7th - pattern triggered by minor or minor 7th.

Both Maj7 and Min7 chords trigger the upper structure of the chord - So for example in a C maj 7 - the notes you hear in the pattern are E,G, and B. and for C min7 it is Eb, G,and Bb.

Aj - if this is something new to you- can you please pass it along to Sandro for inquiry?

thanks
Mike
