I just tried my 9000 Pro & there is no "hissing" or any noise,
I used my headphone's & I can't hear any difference from
volume control set at low to full volume.
Complete silence.
The same holds true going thru my PA system, it is very quiet.
I can get some hissing noise if I connect the Pro to my mixer &
turn everything up to max volume, but I think this is normal.
