Terry, I have to refer back to the manual a lot when I want to use a function that I don't always use. The basic stuff, and the more advanced stuff that I use regularly has become easier for me, but it's still not that hard for me to get lost in the keyboard.
Recently I converted a few samples I made from softsynths over to the ES. What drives me a little nuts is that every time I fire the board up, I have to reload this stuff, ( samples and all ) and I have to reload my "work" bank for my AN150 plug in so that my "stored" user voices will work / sound properly. The gurus on Motifator will dismiss this as easy, but there has to be a better way. I can save soundbanks in any of my softsynths and have them come up exactly as I saved them, and go right to work when I start them up.
I'd give the "X: a good look, but the sound palette will need a major improvement over it's predecessors, and I then I need to dig deep to see if I have to go through the hassle of reloading samples and user patches every time I fire it up, as is the case with the ES.
