Hi,
> Make sure that they build in enough RAM to load in good samples, and allow upgrade slot for even more RAM capability!!!! for those who do alot of sampling or want to be able to use very high quality samples on the keyboard. (i.e. 32mgs ram for samples in todays age is nothing).
remember that bigger is not always better. I've hear gigabites of samples sounding as rubbish and small Mb samples but well done (one example: Akai - Miroslav Vitous series)
sounding wonderful. It's a matter of ability more than the size in my opinion.
And remember also that what's in ram must be loaded at the startup, so take care also of this point if you don't want to go at the gig 2 hours in advance only to have your sonic arsenal ready to go ! :-)
Just my 0,001%°
Cheers.
