Hi, the PSR 3000 is 100% compatible with Tyros, in fact, in some stores, is called the little Tyros....there are a few diferences, like 3 voices for Upper-Tyros vs. only 2 for the 3000, footswithes, more memory, etc... you should go to the PSR Tutorial at: http://psrtutorial.com/
