I've been following this arranger forum for about a year an a half as an observer and I think it is the best of all. I'm from Argentina where this market is dead and you've made me feel in company. I am 38 years old and my hobby is playing organ (an old Yamaha D85 that was my dream in my teens) and my arranger (a PSR 1500) together with a Korg Tr and an Ensoniq SQ1 (which basically works as a controller).
I wanted to share with you how amazing is playing the arranger with a midi pedal. I've just bought a Roland Pk5 pedal which is midied to the PSR to play the line bass. It lets me create more complex music and I didnīt imagine how much it would change the performance. Besides it lets you have many other functions like playing drums, sound effects, midi controller, etc. leaving your hands free. I know not many of you can play a pedalboard but I also know some of you are former organ players who miss it.
I also want to tell you how much I envy you for being able to get all these top arrangers that are not available in my country. There are only available the Korg PA50 and PSR1500. When I attempted to order a Tyros2 exclusively for me the salesman asked Us$8000 for importing it!!!.
For those who want to see me play search in You Tube: vagro2006. In my last video I play the arranger with the pedal (sorry I donīt know how to link it). See you.
