I have heard these, and like you, I am not too impressed, though, I did not think they are bad either.

However, I always remind myself that a demo, along with the picture and a spec sheet are merely proofs that an instrument exists, and what really counts is how the instrument sounds to my ears when I play it. So I not going to judge this instrument until I can try one myself.
