One of the thrills of my life was having Bonnie Owens, who has sung with Merle Haggard for years and is on all his records,
"sit in" with me and sing harmony for three hours. I did every Merle Haggard song I know, and I know a LOT of them. The first one I did with her was "Silver Wings".
