The new KETRON XD-series will be replacing the renoun MS-series keyboards and modules.

George Kaye,
You're right. The XD3/9 does have 198 Block Registration memories & the capacity to have 999 per optional HD folder or within the FD.

Tonkan.
The XD9/VEGA does have aftertouch (and this is also supported in the XD3)- which will be programmable in later OS.

Eric, B, the differences include;
* There are more live loops within the XD3 than the X4.
* There are more sounds on the XD3 units and a better sound generation engine.
* Navigation on the XD3 series is sceen dependent, whereas on the X4, it was panel dependend (sounds and styles selection).
* There is a 150,000 note sequencer standard on the X4 (expandable to 300,000 notes),where-as there is no sequencer on the XD3.
* There is a SAMPLER on the X4. XD3 does not have a sampler.
* XD3 has more of the less-live features in menus (PLAY & LEFT MENU controls) leaving the board less cluttered and easier for use.
* XD3 has a new Drum Mix feature (not found on the X4) which allows for total replacement of MIDIfile drums with live/standard XD3 drums.

... plus much more features which will soon be released.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

AJ
