I think the whole situation is unfortunate for all parties involved, especially with the media circus that follows. I am an ardent Obama supporter, and am glad that he can speak his mind, but at the same time being a law enforcement officer myself, I hope he learned a lesson from all of this..
and that is to not take such a strong stance when you don't know all the facts of the case.. especially given that what you did know about it came from the media.
