That really is very sad news. I love Echoes and think it is one Floyds most epic pieces of music. Pink Floyd will always be one of my most favorite bands. The cover band I play in still plays Pink Floyd covers and I have a US Fender Stratocaster setup with the Dave Gilmour EMG pickup system.

I am so sad to hear this news about Richard.
