When I met George last year, he was bed-ridden, but not at all miserable. He recieved me with a smile, and his wife was cordial, and gracious as well.
It's sad that they have such hardships, but I have to think that somewhere, deep inside, George has a positive, cheerful memory of many friends and loved ones he has touched.
