That's OK Dave. If everyone got Frank's sense of humor he probably wouldn't be pleased at all as he never wanted to be mainstream. It really is an aquired taste and I guess I grew up ( musically ) at a time during the counter culture in the late 60s and early 70s so I found a lot of appeal in Frank Zappa's music. Between the hard rock humor and the avant guarde jazz influences it just worked for me. I don't expect it to appeal to everyone in general. I guess even some of the classic rock numbers I play in my band now that includes AC/DC, Black Sabbath and Red Hot Chilli Peppers wouldn't appeal to most non rock audiences.

It's the variety in musical styles that are out there that keep it interesting.
