The switch configurations can be a bit confusing at first glance.
Basically, they're single coil (lots of bite), there are two switches for each pickup, one of which is a dedicated on/off, the other, splits between top end and bottom end.
The lone switch above is a kill all, handy if it's sitting in a stand, ready to go but with no risk of feedback in the off position.
I'm trying to get used to (once again) how fast this axe is.
This is gonna be fun........
