One other thing I happened to think of. Not everyone got such a great price when new. I know of people paying $4000 or more and not too long ago.

The other thing is these keyboards are starting to become more and more scarce along with the accessories. I think a lot of people know this and are buying one when they can at the going current rate. I also believe a lot of die hard Technics fans are getting a back up keyboard for their current KN7000. I also believe the price of this keyboard will continue to spiral up similar to a Hammond B3.
