I appreciate you sharing that website with me. There's a lot of really excellent issues to read as I am shopping for my main board now.
I think the best thing for me to do is to save up enough money and get a solid board that feels great, sounds great, has some expansion capabilities, can be an very good controller and is simply powerful enough to be the only board (piece of equipment) to use. Whether it be a piano solo or organs/pads/strings in a mix. I also have a JV1010 and an RS-9, but would like a solid weighted 88 key synth. I prefer the balanced over graded because the board will not be restricted to piano playing.
In general I like Yamaha over Korg or Roland. The Triton's really don't impress me. Imagine? I thought about an XV-88 but they seem to be 2000+. I don't know... I would like 128 polyphony though.
