Wow. What happened to all the postings? Well Snoids it's been a year or 2 since I did this but I think the name of the place was "Normans Electronics". That could be a local thing and you may not be able to find it where you are, but I would think any type of electronics specialty store like this would sell disk drive belts.

Did you find out if that was the problem? If so, don't forget to take the belt in the store with you to help you match one up because the people will likely not know what an sy77 is.
