You need XGEDIT. Get it from http://www.yamaha.co.uk/xg/download/tools/xgedit95.zip

You might have to struggle a bit to get it working, but when it's working it's great. It lets you put ANY sw1000xg instrument onto any of the SW's 32 channels. From cubase you access those 32 as SW1000XG#1 1-16 and SW1000XG#2 1-16. I think that's right. You get the idea anyway.
