Hello Sir:
I observed in my newly bought PSR740 that a sound is
produced when I press a (white) key holding for a
while then very rapidly releasing it.The release time
is very quick and will not possibly occur in actual
play. But other keys are not behaving this way. My
PRS740 had just experienced a certain level of strain
during when I transported it as checked-in baggage in
four connecting international flights.
Please explain to me if this problem is mechanical
beneath the key springs or if there is a problem in
the internal circuit. So far, all other functions are
fine except this one disappointing observation.
This rapid key release can be best executed by
pressing a key with one finger and sliding the finger
to the edge of bottom of the key, thereby, rapidly
releasing the key up...AND the SOUND is produced.
I am greatly bothered. YOur technical explanation will
greatly ease the discomfort that I am experiencing
with my newly bought YAmaha PSR740 keyboard. Thank you
in advance.
