Check out ebay. You could just browse on Musical Instruments/Keyboards or Electronics and see what people are paying for them. Then you might find whether it would be worth doing the auction thing.

I contacted Daddy's Junky Music about selling some of my old gear and the prices they would pay were disappointing to say the least. So I've ebayed a couple items and so far am pleased with the results. Hope this helps.
