I've just obtained a KN2000 as an upgrade from my old 800 (the 800 has now gone to a new home).
Trying to hook it up with my Mac via MIDI and having all sorts of problems. I'm using an M-Audio USB Uno MIDI adapter.
The problem is, for MIDI data, if I play the same key even slowly, I get this:
14:58:06.672 From USB Uno MIDI Interface Note On 1 C3 75
14:58:06.808 From USB Uno MIDI Interface Note Off 1 C3 0
14:58:07.745 From USB Uno MIDI Interface Note On 1 C3 76
14:58:07.852 From USB Uno MIDI Interface Note Off 1 C3 0
14:58:08.897 From USB Uno MIDI Interface Note On 1 C3 81
14:58:09.026 From USB Uno MIDI Interface Note Off 1 C3 0
14:58:10.000 From USB Uno MIDI Interface Note On 1 C3 78
14:58:10.125 From USB Uno MIDI Interface Invalid 3 bytes
14:58:11.176 From USB Uno MIDI Interface Note On 1 C3 79
14:58:11.351 From USB Uno MIDI Interface Note Off 1 C3 0
14:58:12.520 From USB Uno MIDI Interface Note On 1 C3 83
14:58:12.706 From USB Uno MIDI Interface Invalid 3 bytes
Some note on and note off events sprinkled with Invalid events sometimes where there should have been an event. Clear example there that my last Note On never got turned off as the corresponding Note Off was missed.
It's much worse with faster playing or with something like SysEx bulk dump.
I've hooked the same MIDI interface up to a dumb MIDI Master keyboard and I don't see this problem so I'm sure it's the KN2000 at fault.
Am I missing some magic setting somewhere? There are a lot of MIDI settings on the KN2000.
Thanks for reading.
