Technics keyboards Kn1000, Kn2000, Kn3000. Kn5000, Kn6000, Kn6500 and the Kn7000 were all flagship models. Each year they got better and better. The Kn2400 and the Kn2600 were made to compete with a lower market. Although I have own and played the Kn2600 on a job I can not compare it with the Kn5000, it's been to long since I sat with a KN5000.

I know when they made the Kn5000 they put in their best ideas ? not so with the 2400 and the 2600. This does not mean that they are not good keyboards, it's just that they did not follow line of better and better.

If dollars must be watched I would keep the Kn5000 and add a sub. If not, why not the Kn2600.
Anyone out there own both keyboards for a good opinion?
