How do you save hundres of midi files to the sequencer?

Is it not better to save to the SD Card, in that midi files are small, can be put into many types of catorgized folders for faster access? The SD Card would seem to be more secure and flexible then the sequencer. I suppose if you only have a few midis that the sequencer is fine.

I know that midis are not as popular as say...2 years ago, but I would think that a lot of members have many midi files they want to store on their 7000. So my question is ..How do owners of the 7000 save their midi files ?
