Yes, I see what you mean, I agree on the point of cost saving. It makes sense and it is a ploy I used often when I was estimating for a living.
I think maybe the input connections on the KN2400 have been utilised to input the SD card on the KN2600.
So, it’s as you said, another input would be required.

The reason for wanting the floppy drive was convenience.
I have lots of Floppies from the KN2000.and when I loaded then into the KN2400 they worked very. So they will also work with the KN2600 I feel sure. I understand when you say this can be achieved by other methods, probably putting the styles from floppy onto an SD card. This is the easiest solution! I can see from your explanation, If it could be achieved it would be an awful lot of work to gain so little. Your explanation was a good one based on fact, and of course experience. Thanks for the reply, I did say if I don’t ask, I will never know, Now I am the wiser for asking!!!.
