Hi Anthony , To change the contrast settings on your KN1200 try the following .

I own as well as a KN7000 a Kn1200 and a SMAC1200

Press Mode set

Then press No 2

Then press contrast setting no 5

Adjust screen contrast to suit you ,

Then press Mode set .

I've had this happen a few times , and this seems to return everything to normal .

Anyhow give it a try !!!
