You only need to specify the SD card drive at actual installation of software. When you use your second SD reader then the software reads it as an extra drive and will display your files the same.

I use Windows XP and on inserting second SD card I get the load options "Explore KN7000 Sd card etc.," You have the choice of accepting it or reading it in Windows etc., Joan

I don't know how it behaves in other versions of Windows.
