Welcome back Bill!

I have been here since 2002. My first professional arranger workstation was the Korg i3. This affordable device from Korg changed the landscape of arranger keyboards. It pretty much ended Technics dominance in the field. Technics dealers pretty much signed their demise by charging exorbitant amounts to their customers. Technics allowed their dealers to charge whatever the market would support. There was no published MSRP.

After the Korg i3, I moved up to the Korg i30. Then Martin Harris released the Yamaha Tyros2 that eclipsed all other brands in quality of voices and styles. Arranger technology has matured in the last 2 decades. You can’t go wrong by picking a Yamaha Genos2, Korg Pa5X or a Ketron Event.

It has been quite a ride!

Looking forward to your contributions to Synthzone.
