In terms of new keyboards the grass was always greener. From my electronic accordion days (before midi was invented) I think my first decent professional keyboard was a Roland E20. Then Solton MS5, MS50 (first venture into midi), then SD1, Audya, Tyros 2 and 4, Roland E50, Korg PA4x then Ketron SD9 and Roland BK5 which got me on the hunt for the BK9. So I have been round the dance floor several times and always thought I was progressing then went back to the SD1. But this time I think I have settled. Funny you mention the distorted guitars because I think they are the worst feature and will happily take your advice to change or remove them.
I have had second thoughts about my wireless midi to ipad for performances and will probably go back to numbered lyrics on my laptop.
On Sunday I am off to Spain for a couple of weeks to get away from it all..... no doubt I will be working my way through the BK9 manual on my kindle lol. Thanks again
