They are active monitors that can be room corrected via DSP. I am 100% satisfied.




Add a subwoofer (At least 10") and set the crossover to around 80Hz, then you will really have a cracking system.

Also if you have them on your desk, make sure you isolate them from it, with at least isolation pads, (But ideally isolation stands) as this will clean up the lower mid/upper base significantly.
