On Korg Forums it was previously referred to why it is taking so long.
The Pa5X OS is brand new, and they will test all new changes thoroughly to make sure that no other issues arise as a result of the changes before they release the new version.
Although there are many very happy users, the negative reviews that have been posted probably mean that Korg will double-check and double-check again before they release 1.4 or whatever version it will be named.
As we know, soon is a relative term, but I would rather wait a bit longer if that is what needed to make the ones that complaints most happier. 👍🌞
