I added in a request to include XF MIDI Files.

Any MIDI file that you record on any Yamaha Arranger Keyboard is automatically saved in the XF MIDI File Format. It is an extension of the Standard MIDI Format that includes Chords and Lyrics that are recognized by all Yamaha Arrangers.

There are several other programs that allow you to create XF MIDI Files:

SmartScore64 Pro
Notation Composer 4
GNMIDI Professional
XGWorks
XFTools
PSRUTI

I wrote a comprehensive guide showing how anyone can create an XF MIDI File starting with a printed Lead Sheet or a PDF Score.

Having an XF MIDI File along with the Style, Registrations and PDF Score to any Song makes it a complete package.

There is an iPad App named SongBook+ that marries your PDF Scores to your Registrations on your Keyboard in a bi-directional link.

Furthermore, you can link your MP3 Files and XF MIDI Files in SongBook+

Imagine this.

You launch SongBook+ on your 12.9” iPad.
You see an alphabetical list of all your PDF sheet music.
You select any Song.
The PDF is displayed while simultaneously the corresponding Registration Bank is selected on your instrument ready to play.

You also have the option to preview the Song by playing the MP3 File or the XF MIDI File.

This is the ultimate in convenience.

“Best invention since Windows and the Internet. Sometimes it took me half an hour to find a suitable style with a certain song. Now I can see the style or more and make a choice or download it directly to my Genos.”
