with the table project. This is the bottom of the table, which measures 8-feet long X 40-inches wide and 2 inches thick. When finished and the legs attached, it will weigh about 260 pounds. Tonight, with the help of some neighbors, we will turn it over so I can put the finishing touches on the top side, which will require another few days of work, sanding, compounding then applying the finish coat. Then, I will be hiring a moving company to move it out of the basement and up to the dining room. They do this kind of thing daily, and I'm too damned old and busted up to attempt to move something of this size and weight.
