I feel very fortunate that I was able to perform until age 77, at which time health issues forced my retirement. All the things that Chas mentioned, plus others brought about the rapid demise of my musical entertainment career, which lasted for more than 40 years. Now, I spend most of my time in a recliner on a heating pad and sipping ice water. Yep, had to give up on the bourbon - now that really hurt!
