Yes getting large popups (on bottom) using Chrome
Annoying
I'm using Chrome as well, no popups or adverts at all.
Take a look at extension(s) for the browser, it's very adjustable if you find the standard settings too tight, or you can just pause it with a click if needed.
https://www.ghostery.com/ghostery-browser-extensionAdBlock plus is also a good alternative.
